Religious members arrived Wednesday afternoon, where students involved in or volunteering with Campus Ministry provided campus tours.
Following the tours, the visiting religious attended student Mass at the Abbey, celebrating the Solemnity of the Annunciation
After Mass, the religious and about 70 invited students gathered in the McAllister Board Room to share a dinner together.mAt dinner, Father Ryan welcomed the attendees, and President Stephen Minnis shared a little on the history of Benedictine College and the school’s entrustment to Mary.
Socials followed the dinner for anyone interested. Women gathered at The Barn, a women’s off-campus house, while all men met at The Citadel, the St. Paul’s Outreach (SPO) men’s household. Here, conversations and fellowship continued alongside food and refreshments.

On Thursday, representatives from each religious order hosted tables in the John Paul II Student Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., engaging students in conversation and sharing information about their communities.
Later that day, many of the religious attended the student Mass again in the Abbey. Their stay culminated with a Holy Hour featuring praise and worship, organized by Campus Ministry’s Acts Team.
Students, especially those at Benedictine College, anticipate Vocations Week each year for the opportunity to meet religious, whether for vocational discernment, meaningful conversation or reconnecting with familiar faces
