On January 19th The Benedictine Ravens wrestling team faced off against the Missouri Valley Vikings. The Vikings are ranked number 13 in the country with many all Americans. The overall score of the duel was 5-47 in the Viking’s favor.
A bright spot for the ravens was Caleb Peralta, a senior from East Hampton,NY. He wrestles in the 141 weight class.Peralta led the whole match with the closest score was at the end of the 1st period the score was 3-1.He continued to press throughout the match and
ramped it up in the 3rd finishing with a tech fall to finish the match 20-3.
