The Ravens are back on the road this weekend against Heart North Division opponent Peru State Bobcats.
Last week, the Ravens defeated William Penn 47-11. Running backs Marquis Stewart, senior, and Charles Nihart, senior, led the Ravens attack with a dominate showing out of the backfield. Stewart rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries. Nihart added 108 yards and two touchdowns. Stewart and Nihart will be needed to get past a Bobcat defense that struggles against the rush.
The Opponent
Head coach Steve Schneider enters his ninth year with Peru State (39-50) only winning once against the Ravens in his tenure. The Bobcats are averaging 233 yards per game on offense this season. Tajh Eaddy and Noah Kasbohm are the Bobcats main offensive threat. On defense, the Bobcats surrender 274 yds/g total. They have given up four rushing touchdowns this season. Bobcats Linebacker Travis Reed will try to slow down the duo of Stewart and Nihart this game.
