The time is finally here!
Ladies, it is time to buy that formal spring dress that you’ve been eyeing all winter.
Guys, it is time to bust out your favorite suit and tie, along with your wildest dance moves.
This year’s Spring Formal, theme “The Way You Look Tonight,” looks to be one of the most exciting in recent years!
Throughout the winter, the junior class of your Student Government has been hard at work scouting the best venue, food, tunes, and entertainment for the annual dance.
This year, the dance will take place on Friday, Apr. 9 at the luxurious Ritz Charles in Overland Park, Kan.
The Ritz Charles offers a spectacular atmosphere, with plenty of room to mingle and dance.
For dinner, a four-course meal will be offered, with choices of Chicken Parmesan, Chicken Helene, and Vegetarian Lasagna. A cash bar will also be serving beer and cocktails.
The juniors have also chosen an exciting disk jockey from KCDJ Professional DJ Services.
He has promised to fill the air with an eclectic mixture of classics, vibrant new singles, and your requests.
The only thing you will need to supply is all the sick dance moves you’ve been practicing in your dorm room.
Another exciting feature of this year’s dance is a free, high-quality, photo booth.
The booth will be open all night (6-11 p.m.) and will feature beautiful black-and-white and color photos of you and your date.
In addition, the booth will be open for unlimited use, allowing you to capture that perfect shot, even if it takes a few tries!
The 2010 Spring Formal will prove to be a fantastic and memorable evening.
Although tickets will be on sale until Mar. 30 in the Caf, Student Union, Roost, and SGA office, they are limited.
So mark the date, get your date, and await the date of the 2010 Spring Formal.
